Ganesha the lord of wisdom.

GANESHA THE LORD OF WISDOM.

There is a legend that, One day Lord Shiva went for sanchara (Wandering) God esses Parvati was at home on Mt.Kailash preparing for a bath.  She didn’t want to be disturbed, She told Nandi,  to guard the door. But, when Lord Shiva came home, naturally Nandi had to let him pass, being loyal first to Lord Shiva. Devi Parvati was angry at the fact that she had no one as loyal to Herself as Nandi is to Lord Shiva. Devi Parvati decided to have someone loyal to her as Nandi is to Lord Shiva.  Taking the turmeric paste (which she applied on her body )from her body and breathing life into it, she created a boy called Ganesha.

Later, when Parvati devi went to bathe, she positioned Ganesha to guard the door. In due course, Lord Shiva came home, only to find this strange boy telling him he couldn’t enter his own house. Lord Shiva tried to convince the boy about the fact.  But he was in no mood to listen to Lord shiva.  Enranged with anger Lord Shiva ordered his Ganas to finish the boy, but they all failed.  Lord Shiva was surprised to see that young boy defeating the Lord Shiva ganas.  Ultimately Lord Shiva fought Ganesha. In divine fury Lord Shiva severed Ganesha head. Parvati Devi got enraged and she decided to destroy the entire Creation. Lord Brahma pleaded Parvati Devi to not to take such drastic step.  On two conditions she agreed to calm down.  First, Ganesha be brought back to life, and second, that he should be  worshipped before all the other gods forever.

After cool down Lord Shiva,  got to know his flaw, agreed to Parvati’s conditions. Lord shiva sent his ganas to bring back the head of the first creature they cross that is laying with its head facing North. Shiva ganas soon returned with the head of an elephant, which Shiva placed onto Ganesha’s body. Lord shiva gave him the status as the chief of all the ganas (classes of beings), Ganapati

This is the common story we all know. But why did  shiva cut his head. There was a demon called Gajamukhasura he created a havoc in heaven and other Lokas including Bhoo loka. He was so mighty that no one could kill him because he had a boon that he could be killed only by the individual who have the face of elephant and the body of a human. Hence, the emergence of LORD GANAPATI arised.

The Value And Purpose Of Introspection.

The Value And Purpose Of Introspection.

Man seems to be simple to the outward perception. In reality he is a conglomerate of mysterious intricate natural wonders. His physical body was designed by the omniscient skill of Almighty and shaped to perfection through millions of generation of various species through the hereditary link. As the result of this evolution the characters and behaviours of a majority of living species on the Earth are hiding within him. Every such hidden character will assert itself at suitable times, according to opportunity and force of need.

Basically man is Divine, according to his origin. On the way of the evolutionary process he has been imbued with innumerable mixed characteristics. As a noble species of six senses, in the age of scientific advancement, he has to adopt and follow a specific way of life with wisdom in knowledge and virtue in deeds. He has to eliminate all unwanted and incompatible characters and make a new plan for living to get enlightenment of consciousness.

All man's imprints, whether hereditary or of present lifetime, take their shapes in the mind before coming into action (deeds). Therefore
by the practice of introspection one has to find all his imprints as they emerge as thoughts and screen them, selecting the good ones only to be retained for action. All unwanted imprints should be eliminated either by auto-suggestions or by super-imposition of virtuous deeds. To make this process practically possible, introspection is imperative. Let us begin with the philosophy of life.

Student Life is a Golden life is common tagline for students.

8/20/2020 05:07:00 pm
Student Life is a Golden life is common tagline for students.

Student Life is a Golden life is common tagline for students.  Student life is free from worries, burden, family responsibilities etc., Student life means waking up early in the morning, put o the uniform, polish the shoe and rush to school. students are so compatible and multitasking that they study 8 to 9 different subjects in 8 to 9 different periods(Sessions). A student enjoys a chit chat in a small time gap between two periods. Back to home and immersed income work.

Very intelligently student tries to escape when caught doing mischevious act or incomplete home work.  Examinations are the toughest phase of the student life.  We try to befriend most studious student,  visiting temples, fasting etc not leaving a stone unturned to get through the exams.

Above said is in the lighter vein. This is not student life and it cannot be golden life.   It may be golden phase but surely not Golden life.

If you want to make life golden then your Student phase of your life should be more Hardworking, Disciplined and Ethical. I share few things which can make student life a 24 carat Gold life.

Personality development- Being literate is not enough you have to be educated. Our elders say usually there are few criteria that can develop our personality.

1. Health- Among all the creatures in this world human life and human body is most worthy and valuable.

There are two things which makes human very special l) Talk ll) Intelligence

l) Talk- Only human beings can talk and the talk should be SIMPLE and SWEET. A good talk can console the depressed soul, A good tone can encourage to do the best.

ll)Intelligence - Human is the only creature which can think and invent the things to his comfort and luxury.

A fish can swim and a bird can fly but a fish cannot fly and bird cannot swim.  A cuckoo can sing A peacock can dance This is nature.
But a human with his intelligence can swim like a fish, fly like a bird, sing like a cuckoo, dance like peacock and many more. Human body is the vehicle to achieve all this. Gandhiji in his autobiography has mentioned that he used to sit quitly without involving in sports hence he was physically not that fit. While playing a team sports a child or a student develops a team spirit. While playing, sportsman will be so much excited that he shouts while shouting his vocal chords gets strong.  Such sportsmen can give a lecture for an hours without drinking a water inbetween  the lecture or seminar.

2) Food Habits- Students nowadays enjoy junk food. Instead of junk foods prefer authentic dishes or fruits. Limit your food.  Have a food at a proper time though you wakeup late nights for your studies. Nurture your body with proper food and exercise.

3) Mentally alert- We often see that student will be in cross roads. They should be clear in their mind what they're going to do, why they are going to do, how they are going to do, when they are going to do, which one they are going to do.  Clarity of mind will always make a person non biased to thought or a thing. For example now I am writing about student life I should be clear in my mind instead of writing a student's life I should not think about economics. We we always hear people saying I wanted to study medicine but, I wanted to go to film but I went to restaurant, I wanted to purchase trench coat but I ended up with rain coat.
"BUT IS A BIT OF POISON".
Be clear you'll have a less chance to be sorry for the wrong decisions or doing.

4) Enhance listening skills- Cultivate the habit of listening in future you'll be a calm person. The more you listen you have an every chance to explore a person's thoughts and gain from it. Rama  listened to a vanara also, hence he was able to reach Lanka.

5) Habit of Reading- Make a habit of reading. read the greatest personalities like Vivekananda, Ramakrishna, Rabindranath tagore, APJ Abdul Kalam. The books about the greatest personalities inspire us to reach our goal. Make a habit of reading the books or the good magazines at least a two page a day and when you complete the book write a synopsis on the front page. Your synopsis will give the essence of the book.

6) Intellectually sharp- Brian takes all the thoughts and when the fresh one comes it will super impose on the older one. When you read or see any thing, take the proper data and impose in the brain and use it in a proper time. This will super impose in your brain.

7) Emotionally Well Balanced- Happiness, Sadness, Anger, victorious, Fear  and many other emotions should be controlled and channelised. Emotions should be there but over happines, over sadness, too much of anger, too much of excitement in victory  are not good. A student can cultivate this habit by being friendly with everybody and sharing the sorrow of the friend and not being too much angry about other's mistake and victory should not be insulting for your defeated friend.

8) Time management-  Time management shapes the student's mind into the direction of discipline and responsibility in the duty. The students should utilise the 24 hours very wisely to become the best student and to excel in his subjects. Time management over a time helps to achieve success with less effort. Poor time management is also a reason for stress in one's life. We have heard about exam fever this is nothing but an anxiousness for the lack of time to study and complete the subjects. Make time to study on a regular basis, time to do your homework, time to prepare for your exams, time for your family and friends, time for the leisure like playing sports watching TV etc, time for yoga or exercise. Time management makes a student disciplined, intelligent, sharp, punctual, healthy and active.

9) spirituality - Spirituality makes student the best virtuous personality. A small example of our late president APJ Abdul Kalam will explain the entire concept and importance of spirituality.
After Kalam failed the interview for Air Force pilot in Dehradun he was not  selected with sheer disappointment he took a bus to Rishikesh and headed to ganges. Then, as he brooded over what direction his life would take, Kalam met the man he would often call the 'Guru of my life". Kalam wrote in his book, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear — How true! Here was the teacher to show the way who has gone ashtray.
Swami Shivanand told Kalam "Accept your destiny and go ahead with your life. You are not destined to become an air force pilot. What you are destined to become is not revealed now but it is pre determined. Forget this failure, as it was essential to lead you to your destiny.  Search, instead, for the true purpose of your existence. Become one with yourself, my son! Surrender yourself to the wish of God.

If this was to be my destiny, I thought, let it be so. Finally , I was filled with mental peace. No more did I feel bitterness or resentment at my failure to enter the Air Force,” Thus began the journey of the Missile man and President of world's biggest democratic nation.
I think this one example of Mr. President Kalam is enough to club the role of spirituality in ones life.

Above virtues can make a student future life "GOLDEN".

What is the true significance of Gravity?

8/17/2020 11:38:00 pm

The process of the physical significances of gravitational force in the universe and in the living being as feeling, experiencing and imprinting
(storing memory) occur as follows; Anything which has self-rotative force has greater speed at the periphery of its volume than in its centre point. Reducing gradually from the periphery, the speed comes to nil or static at the centre point. That is, there exists a point in the centre where there is no motion at all. So the centre point of every energy particle is static, which is directly linked to all atoms in the body and with the surrounding Static State in the whole universe, and with the Static State (Absolute Space) surrounding the universe as a whole. It is the natural law that all magnetic, electrical and chemical phenomena (waves) are the significance of physical transformation of matter and all such waves are absorbed into the Static State. Absorption is the ultimate end of attraction. We should remember one natural mathematical law, that two negatives make a positive. The Static State is positive, and the energy particle is negative. The spreading wave from the particle is negative, added to the (particle's) negative; so it has to become positive which is Static State. Now at a glance, one can see all the functions of universe; dynamic energy particle, emerging from Static State, spreading wave radiating from the energy particle, this spreading wave becoming magnetism when it joins (clashes) the Static State, the magnetism becoming characterised as waves of pressure, sound, light, smell and taste in physical transformation, and all such waves upon physical transformation instantly become one with Static State.

The Static State absorbs everything; it is the final end of everything. All appearances, in reality, are only waves of whirling motion or spreading motion. In the physical sense, the Static State which is the center of every particle, attracts other particles. Yet every particle has a certain
self-rotative speed; thereby every one repulses others and all are kept at and appropriate distance. Aggregation of particles and formation of atoms are conditioned by: 1) the gravitational force of Static State in the center of the particles, 2) the repulsive strength of each particle, 3) forces impinging from other waves, and 4) the constant, omnipotent and omnipresent pressure of the surrounding Static State.

The Ineffable Nature Of Mind.

8/17/2020 10:20:00 pm

 THE INEFFABLE NATURE OF MIND

THE INEFFABLE NATURE OF MIND

Among all the Secret phenomena of the universe, the mind is intrinsically marvelous, second to God. All through the evolutionary process of Nature, the mind is inseparable from God. Two phenomena: force and Consciousness, are inherent qualities of God in the Static State. Throughout the evolutionary process of Nature (i.e. Static State), force is taking multifarious forms, from energy particle to the greatest masses of the mineral kingdom and inanimate matter, to animate life from one-sense living beings to six-sensed nan. Throughout this same evolutionary process, Consciousness is manifesting its character as appropriate order of function in three main stages: 1) pattern, precision and regularity in all inanimate things; 2) perceptional ability of cognition, experience and discrimination in all living beings, and 3) Self-realising faculty in man, i.e. knowing its own three-facets of Consciousness, knowledge and mind.

Now let us consider the marvelous phenomenon, mind. The physical body is constituted by millions of cells with magnetic polarity, clinging to one another in a systematic arrangement. Within the physical body innumerable energy particles circulate as life-force. Every life-force particle is in speedy self-rotation and radiating a spreading wave. These spreading waves clash with the Static State (Space) which exists entirely within the physical body, and the joint product of this clash is bio-magnetism. The bio-magnetism becomes transformed into pressure, sound, light, smell, and taste, in collaboration with the physical cells. All the metabolic routines and mental functions are being done only by the transformation of bio-magnetism. The Static State in the centre of every life-force particle exists as Consciousness. This Consciousness extends as mind via the bio-magnetic field of the body and perceives the transformation of bio-magnetism as sensation. When sensation gives limited acceleration to the life-force, the feeling is Pleasure. If it is aggravated beyond that limit the feeling is Pain, and if the sensation is balanced the feeling is Peace. Illness occurs as and when the bio-magnetism gets short-circuited in the body in the process of physical transformation, when such a short-circuit is prolonged or intense and exhausts the bio-magnetic stock of the body, it results in death. When any kind of aggravation or short-circuit occurs, the Consciousness in its psychic extension feels it as discomfort or pain. Following the feeling of pain, the psychic extension takes the next step to Need. From the force of need, Zeal arises, zeal brings actions or deeds to fulfil the felt need, the action produces a Result, results are enjoyed or suffered accordingly; this brings experience, experience takes one to Research; research results in a Realisation; realisation brings one to a Conclusion. In this way the psychic extension of consciousness takes ten stages in human life: 1) Feeling, 2) Need, 3) Zeal, 4) Action, 5) Result, 6) Enjoyment, 7) Experience, 8) Research, 9) Realisation, and 10) Conclusion. These ten stages of psychic extension of Consciousness are comprehensively called "mind".

The Static State is Consciousness and its extension through the bio-magnetic field is mind, just like the ocean and its wave; both are intrinsically one, but terminology differs according to the momentary viewpoint. Whatever the perceptions and feeling of the mind, all occur by the clashes of characterised waves with the senses. Below or beyond the sensorily perceptible, all clashes of waves spread to the whole body via the magnetic field as only vibrations. As the Static State in the centre of every life-force particle is gravitational force (attraction), all such clashes of characteristic waves reach and end there, in the Static State, Consciousness.

On the way, the whirling waves of the life-force particles receive and are affected by all clashes as imprints. Understand that the entire physical body is a well-ordered, full magnetic reservoir, and the magnetism is the combination of Static State and dynamic waves. All the metabolic functions and all functions of mind are precisely carried out by the bio-magnetism with the co-operation of the body and brain cells, and the co-ordination of the limbs and senses.

It is the natural law that every wave emanating from anything has the character of that thing. When any waye clashes on anything, it will induce its own qualities in the thing on which it clashes. Furthermore, because everything is a wave (or conglomeration of waves) in the great ocean of universal magnetism, all clashes instantly affect the entire universe, all particles and masses.

Again, let us think of the life-energy particles. These particles constantly receive clashes of characterised waves and get imprints by the same. Due to the particles, whirling motion, all imprinted characteristics are emitted from their continuously emerging, spreading waves. The Consciousness which is linked with the bio-magnetic wave is forced to focus as mind on either incoming or out-going waves, according to their intensity at the moment. So, sometimes one's focus is directed to the ongoing sensory experience, and at other times to the reflection of previously imprinted character. As there are always fluctuations in the charge, stock and consumption of bio-magnetism in the body, the focusing point of Consciousness is impelled to change accordingly.

Now it is clear that the peripheral function of Consciousness is mind. The storage of all imprints in the life-energy particles is knowledge (collective experiences), and the Static of Infinite State is Consciousness. These three-faceted functions of one phenomenon, Consciousness, must be understood in order to know all about the physical body, life-force, magnetism, senses and universe. Here, I have expounded the theory, the science. For practical comprehension and experience, one has to apply the science and progressively understand through meditation, by fixing the mind on the life-force.

Living Conditions Of Modern Man.

8/16/2020 11:16:00 pm
living conditions of modern man

In these days of advancement of sciences, man's life is precarious. Contemporary man is far from being a real man in thought and deed. His life is in confusion, with multifarious problems which could not be understood, faced or solved by his own knowledge and skills. Providence and potentials are abundant; if man becomes aware of his greatness and utilises his potential properly he can be successful and enjoy life to the maximum limit. The personality of a fully developed human being should be strong and creative to face the problems of life as well as to help others. Instead, we see that every one becomes a problem for others. Such a negative and deceptive situation prevails. Why? Here, a deep thought is necessary. Man is a wonderful species. He is at the top of the evolutionary ladder. He has evolved through millions of species to the present bodily form and structure and is endowed with an unimaginable number of concentrated qualities of all living beings. He is, in a way, a species of super-computer, having the imprints of multifarious characteristics of living beings of the entire world. Let us think of the mode of living and imprints of habits in the brain and body cells of animals. Most of man's imprints are derived from the animal kingdom. From two-sense to five-sense animals, excepting a few species, way of life is killing and eating the flesh of other animals. So, in short, the animal characteristics are aggression and Living at the cost of other's causing pain and destruction.

What is the benefit of the greed of a great man?

7/29/2020 05:36:00 pm
What is the benefit of the greed of a great man?

As Narada once heard in Parameshwara. What is the benefit of the bigotry? That ..

Then Lord Shiva shows you a fertilizer worm that is in the middle of the earth, and hear it. It says so.

Narada said okay, stand in front of the worm and say goodbye. Then the manure looked upon the worm, and, upon seeing it, immediately died. Bored nervous people came to Lord Shiva and told him what happened.

Then Lord Shiva, don't worry I will tell you one more idea. Ask. In a few moments, the parrot will give birth to a baby in the bird's nest on the edge of the mango tree.

The fibers went out and saluted the parrot, who had just given birth. The parrot came to life with them.

Lord Shiva offered another idea to let the angry Narada return to Shiva again.

Look at a barn in the distance and in a few moments a cow will give birth to a calf, which will relieve your suspicions. The Naras, who left with a heartfelt greeting, greeted the newborn calf. The calf was already dead.

Shiva still told him a trick. Show and see a prosperous state. In a few moments, the queen of that state will have a baby.

The Narada were scared, "No lord, all of them insects and animals. He is dead.

Lord Shiva is full of courage and this time it will never be. And he said, Go. Maheshwara's words were unmistakable, and the noisy mornings were slowly making their way into the palace, the voice of "Salutations Mahamuni" from the cradle.

Surprised fibers spoke to the newborn who had just been born, to go to the cradle. The nervous, nervous moment, asked the child, "What is the benefit of the wrath of the elders?" That is.

The child said to them, "You came to me when I was a manure worm. I was born of a parrot in your grave. Yet you were born to me in the grave. .

The Narada realized the benefits of the Mahatma Darshan and saluted Lord Shiva.

True. Adult companionship may not be important to us at that moment. But surely we will benefit from the wrath of those gentlemen.

What do you mean by Vairaagyam, Sayujyam and Kaivalyam? Small information here..

7/26/2020 10:28:00 am
Vairaagyam, Sayujyam and Kaivalyam

When you cut all of your bonds of affection for all the things and for all the people during this world, it is Called 'Vairaagyam'. But this stage isn't sufficient. the rationale for this stage should be the bond of affection formed with the Lord. because of this new bond with the Lord, all the old bonds must be cut. If the new bond doesn't exist and simply the old bonds are cut, it's only salvation. A stone also has salvation because it doesn't have any bond with anything or anybody during this world. If one leaves the family and residential by taking sanyasa, all that's a waste, if he has not taken sanyasa for the sake of the Lord. The new bond with the Lord (Bhakti) should be the rationale for the detachment from all the other bonds (Vairaagyam). Only Vairaagyam is useless without Bhakti. If Bhakti is achieved, Vairaagyam is automatic.  If you've tasted the divine nectar (Amritham), you'll automatically discard other drinks. albeit you permit other drinks without tasting the divine nectar, you'll attend the drinks after a short time with double the vigor. therefore Vairaagyam without Bhakti isn't only a waste but is additionally impossible. Just see this instance . A young man loved a lady for the past one month. the parents weren't agreeing for the marriage . But the young man cut all his bonds, which were developed, along side his parents for the past 25 years because of this new one-month-old bond! The million-birth-old bonds are cut by one new bond developed with the Lord in human form during this birth. Swami Vivekananda could cut all the family bonds for the sake of the divine work of His Sadguru (Ramakrishna Paramahamsa).

Similarly the Gopikas could cut all the family bonds for the sake of the Lord in human form (Krishna). alittle atom bomb can destroy huge mountains. Narada wrote within the Narada Bhakti Sutras that one should love the Lord as a lover loves his or her darling (Jaraa Vatcha). He also gave the instance of the Gopikas within subsequent Sutra (Yathaa Vraja Gopikanaam). Such love involves the sensible sacrifice. The lover leaves his or her parents practically to follow side his or her darling. albeit the parents threaten stating that they are getting to not give him or her, the family property, if he/she marries his/her lover, the boy or the girl is prepared to travel away all the property for the sake of his or her lover. When the parents manage to stop him or her, she or he will even kill . Therefore for the sake of the lover one can cut all the family bonds, bond with wealth and money and even the bond with one's life. once you'll do that stuff within the case of the lover, how am i ready to believe that it's impossible for you to undertake to to the same within the case of the Lord? this means that you simply simply don't have that much real love for the Lord. Holy Jesus said that one should cut the bond even with one's life for the sake of the Lord. If something is impossible, it should be impossible every where. The new bond of affection formed with God is known as 'Saayujyam' and Kaivalyam'.

Saayujyam means becoming on the brink of the Lord. Kaivalyam means becoming one with the Lord. Kaivalyam doesn't suggest merging within the Lord physically. no matter the devotee says, the Lord will say the same . no matter the devotee wishes the Lord wishes the same . this is often often vice-versa also. Such oneness is known as Kaivalyam.

The Greatness and Importance of Seva (Service).

The Greatness and Importance of Seva (Service)
dattatreya, guru, karma, Meditation, Sadhguru, seva, Sri satupasi, spiritual Teja,
Seva

To do meditation the mind must be under one's control. When the mind remains separate and otherwise engaged and the organs of action are
engaged in some work, even then the mind will be participating in the work superficially in an indirect and subtle way and not overtly. But when one gets absorbed in meditation and sense organs as well as organs of action have become inactive, the mind gets hurt and feels tormented and remains silent and quiet under compulsion. When the meditator gradually surfaces to normal consciousness the mind returns and resumes its normal action.

But when one is engaged in Seva (Selfless work), both the mind and its associated organs of senses and action will joyfully work in unison and
harmony. On the other hand in meditation one has to keep his mind along with sense organs and organs of action under his control and check. Of
Course, it is always extremely difficult to keep one's mind under control because it never becomes inactive except in deep sleep. When the sense ongans work in unison, the organs of action will automatically join them willingly and joyfully and the job on hand will be accomplished perfectly. When this happens there will be all round harmony and the mind will not leave the organs to themselves and try to get interested in something else. Then with such a mind, when one is engaged in Seva work, in noble and selfless work, no other disturbing desires, thoughts and worries will arise in one's mind.

Specially now, in modern days, when people have progressed too far technologically and in every other way, for any one to get involved in Seva work is very difficult and is indeed Great and Noble. To engage in Seva work becomes extremely beneficent for the mind and lays proper
foundation for the mind to become one-pointed, capable and efficient. In this way Seva work prepares the mind to deep meditation and silence.

Now when you people get busy with some service in the Ashrama, by God's Grace the mind remains calm and no unwanted desire or yearning will arise to disturb the mind. The organs of action will co-operate in the Work quite willingly and enthusiastically. The mind too gets absorbed in the WOrk. Is this, in effect, not a much superior mental state than your dhyana with closed eyes? You, who are devotees, seekers and spiritual aspirants lould understand this secret, this inner meaning of this selfless Seva, which fact proves to be a highly effective sadhana. That is why whenever devotees come to the Ashrama they should themselves find out some work suitable to their temperament and useful to the Ashrama and engage themselves willingly in such work. But they should not entertain any ulterior motives in their minds while doing the work. In fact to get this kind of an opportunity to work is in it self a rare good fortune and a blessing. Such a devotee who works with great devotion and sincerity, even if he has not been able to sit and meditate on any day will eventually derive astounding spiritual benefit. Because of his continuous selfless seva, before he leaves his body, in his last moments he will automatically and effortlessly get in very deep absorption in meditation and experience Nirvikalpa Samadhi or 'Self-realisation'. All this happens because of Guru's Compassion, Love
Grace and Blessings. This is because he will have been virtually in that state all along.

Why I am emphasizing the importance of Seva to this extent is because these days, when most people are getting almost addicted to satisfying their endless sensual desires, to develop the propensity or get the requisite bent
of mind to get interested in this kind of Seva is becoming extraordinarily difficult. Also engaging oneself in serious sadhana remaining at home is
almost impossible these days. Saints and ascetics of yore used to devote themselves to highly rigorous tapasya' or spiritual disciplines ignoring even basic and elementary comforts and subjecting themselves and their bodies to unimaginable hardships and afflictions, not minding continuous exposure to wind, rain and shine over prolonged periods. They had such dedication and determination and they did it. But we cannot even imagine doing even a wee-bit of such things now. In these days if we do God's Seva, HIS continuous remembrance through Nama Japa, Bhajana at fixed timings and such other simple spiritual disciplines and attend to his duties also, if is sufficient.

Organs of action become active through the promptings of sense organs alone. It is for this purpose only we sit for meditation with closed eves and make the mind and organs still with no movement whatsoever, When we do God's seva we will in fact be doing good meditation even without our knowledge, When the mind gets absorbed in God's Seva, is it not meditation? Only when the mind is at peace and free from all other thoughts, we can concentrate on Seva, isn't it? With nagging doubts and tormenting worries can we get interested in doing God's Seva? When we begin the Seva, even if some sort of disturbing thoughts are present in the mind, as we get immersed in Seva work all such thoughts disappear. Such a still mind is in what is called 'Nirvikalpa' state.

Then there is what is called the 'Nidhana' state of the mind. This is superior to all other states. One who is in this state need not do any work or
duties or sadhana or anything else.

What is this 'Nidhana' state? To be totally free of the 'doer-feeling' is Nidhana' state. Doing everything you remain under the feeling that you are doing nothing. Even when you give away things to anyone, you don't feel you have given anything. In common usage we use the word 'Nidhana' to mean, to be soft and slow in everything we do - to walk very slowly, to
speak very slowly and very softly, to eat very slowly without talking or making any kind of noise etc. This is not what we mean by 'Nidhana'. To
be utterly and totally free of the 'doer-feeling' is 'Nidhana'-as for example you go on giving profusely and yet you feel you have given absolutely nothing.

Now, say, there is some one who cannot himself do any kind of physical Seva". But by God's Grace he has money. Ifhe freely parts with
bis money all the while firmly feeling, all I possess really belongs to HIM, I am grving to HIM only what is HIS, then he is a real 'Nidhani'-one who is
in Nidhana' state. Let the whole world proclaim that he is a munificient donor, a 'Dana Shura Karna'(Karna of Mahabharata fame in giving), he
lould always feel within himself, I have given nothing, I have done nothing. One should be a Nidhani' like that.

Sometimes even to know or understand these subtle things creates real diffieulties. The mind is so subtle. I say this because there are some
who are by nature 'Nidhanis' without their knowing. They will be freely giving money and or doing other kinds of sevas. After hearing what I have explained above they get into lot of confusion - like, am I a real Nidhani? am I really giving and doing things the way I should? etc.etc. That is why Guru selects proper devotees, prompts them to give and do other kinds of
Seva, makes them forget all about it also. He has the power to make them do the right things even without their being aware of it. God goes on getting Such things done by HIS selected devotees: If they come to know of things like being a 'Nidhani' etc. sometimes strange things happen. The mind is well known to be fickle like a monkey. Now it goes on scratching its head over such things and make a 'raw wound' of it. By going on thinking over it, it keeps the wound always 'raw and festering' and will not allow it to heal. So it is best to go on giving money and doing Seva quietly without
bothering about these things. One should not be thinking deeply and discussing unnecessarily such things. If one does this, unnecessary
complications will arise where things were going on smoothly. I know what is going on in everyone's mind. So knowing that Guru knows everything, if devotee goes on doing his work as well as sadhana in his own way, that is sufficient.

God himself comes down as Guru.

God himself comes down as Guru
Guru, Sadhguru, himself, devotees, human beings, bliss and joy, dodderi, spiritual Teja,
Data guru

God himself comes down as Guru in human form to make his devotees know the essential facts about HIMSELF and HIS creation. Otherwise how will human beings know about HIS existence-who HE is, what HE is doing etc? Therefore HE appears in the form of a Guru before human beings and tells them, 'See, God exists, HE is like this, if you want Peace, Bliss and Joy, go towards THAT'. He tells them how they should live in order to reach THAT' and enjoy Peace and Bliss. HE appears before them as an ordinary human being and tells them, 'See, I am also born just like any of you, I also live in family, I too have hunger & thirst like you, I am also a normal human being like you'. But there is one essential difference. The Guru has extraordinary intelligence and is all-knowing. He knows things that can engender Peace and Bliss in human beings. A continuous stream of enlightened knowledge and profound ideas goes on flowing out of him. He shows by his own life and example that God exists and that HE is ALL- POWERFUL and ALL-KNOWING. He points this out and makes it clear to them by concrete examples and happenings. He exhorts and awakens them and tells them, 'Why do you imagine yourself that you are going to be permanent? Don't you have even ordinary common sense? Why don't you see that nothing is permanent here? Everything here is not only impermanent but false also. God alone is real and eternal, go to HIM. In fact you are HE only, you are not different from HIM'. Whosoever listens to him and follows his teachings merges in that ETERNAL REALITY ultimately and becomes THAT.

That is why it is said that God and guru are not different. God has no form, attributes, nothing. THAT' is formless, undivided whole, knowledge
and bliss personified, limitless, absolute and infinite. 'IT' cannot be described IT is real and eternal. The only one person who can speak about 'IT authentically is the Guru. Heis the very living personification of ITS existence Only he is competent to give examples and illustrations and talk about IT. That is why Guru always talks of God. Whoever listens to his words will be immensely benefited.

Guru is God himself in human form, he can talk about IT also because he possesses the requisite organs to do it. IT cannot talk about ITSELF
because it has neither form nor the necessary organs. Guru talks about IT to those who are desirous of hearing and knowing about IT. He tells what IT is, how IT is and how to reach IT etc. He tells his devotees to begin moving towards IT with out any delay.

Also, in the absence of the Guru how could people know about IT? They wouldn't have known anything about IT. They use the soul they possess
exclusively to satisfy the desires of their sense organs. They feel that the soul exists for this purpose only. Suppose you have a source of light, you can utilize it for whatever purpose you want. If you utilize it for playing cards or any other useless purpose it will not ask you, why you are using il for such bad purposes. The user of course will suffer the consequences of what he does with it. He can use the same light for example, for performing 'yagas' and 'yagas' (religious and spiritual rituals), for charitable, philanthropic and such other good and holy purposes, for conducting pravachanas etc. also.

Guru's Compassion.

Guru's Compassion

Right from my boyhood I loved being alone. I was not having any contact with the outside world. I was not at all liking that sort of relationship.

I have done this, will God be pleased with it?-these kinds of thoughts and feelings never used to occur to me. One can say I was not having any sort of relationship with God. I was not knowing all these things also. I was neither praying to HIM nor asking HIM to give me anything or do anything to me.

Even if anyone died or anything got stolen, ruined or destroyed, even if anything happened to anyone or anything, I was not at all feeling bad. In
a way those days were splendid, I think. Now, if anything bad happens to any living creature or to any devotee, I cannot bear it at all. I get terribly
disturbed. I wonder why and how this has happened. I don't understand it at all. I feel those were glorious days. I was sort of a king or an emperor all by myself. I was one with God. Now lot of responsibility has fallen on my shoulders. Responsibility means, not that I am doing anything. Things go on happening automatically by themselves.

In worldly affairs, even if some little thing goes wrong, it creates problems. Even a little boredom, a little dissatisfaction because of anything creates difficulties. Even a little upset or disturbance in anything becomes a problem. This is what has happened. Praying to HIM to keep everyone fine, everyone happy, I am spending my days, that's all.

Avadhutas.

Dattavadhuta

An Avadhuta, though he lives and moves about in the world, forgetting it he remains always merged with that SUPREME TRUTH, with that PARABRAHMA TATTWA. Though he appears an ordinary person to onlookers, in reality he is an extraordinary person. Such persons a removing
God HIMSELF moving about in human form. They will not suffer hunger and thirst like ordinary people. But when they become hungry they just eat whatever food is available in front of them without even asking anybody or observing any sort of formality. Even if that food is meant for a dog they just do not bother. For all external appearance they look like mad men. If one recognizes and serves them, his worldly and family problems and difficulties may get solved, but not his spiritual problems and difficulties. This is because they will not have 'Master-Disciple' relationship', 'Guru - Shisya relationship.

When one becomes an Avadhuta, he cannot become either a Guru or an ordinary person again. Avadhutas wish well of the world always.

Guru - Devotee Relationship.

6/16/2020 03:55:00 pm
Guru - Devotee Relationship
devotees, Dodderi, Gnana Nidhi, Guru, relationship, Sadhguru, Spiritual, spiritual Teja, Sri satupasi, worship,

The relationship between a Guru and his devotee is a kinship that is unique and very special. In ordinary relationships when some discord or estrangement occurs, if they want, they can say you are no longer my son, you are no longer my elder brother etc and cut-off their relationship all together. But Guru-Devotee relationship is not of this type. Guru might have said anything, even if he had scolded the disciple very severely, a disciple will never feel that he should cut-off his relationship with the Guru.

To worship Guru is same as worshipping God. If one gets Guru's Grace, that disciple will go on remembering his Guru. He cannot forget him. Grace does not mean any other thing. It is just earning Guru's love and endearment. If he becomes dear to the Guru, that devotee cannot free himself from Guru's attraction and strong pull. This pull frees the devotee from all other worldly responsibilities and bondages- like wife, children, relatives, education etc. It makes him not to bother about any of these responsibilities any more. That devotee no longer runs after worldly enjoyments, luxuries and pleasures. If one earns Guru's Grace and blessings, that disciple after leaving the body attains his Guru, merges in him and becomes Guru himself.

Temporary and Immature renunciation.

Temporary and Immature renunciation
devotion, effortless, faith, Immature, lives, naturally, renunciation, Spiritual, spiritual Teja, temporary,
Dattatreya

To one who has noble and virtuous qualities ingrained in him from his past lives, faith and devotion come naturally and effortlessly. In fact he is born with these things. Such a person need not struggle much and engage himself in rigorous tormenting and prolonged spiritual disciplines. He would have done these already in his previous lives.

But to one, who, in this life, just begins to read the scriptures, to listen to Puranas (Epics and other religious and scriptural texts), to ruminate over the contents of what he has read and listened, to know about God and HIS creation, to get convinced that they are all true, to feel the need of proper guidance from a competent Guru, to go to him, to get convinced of the path to God shown by the Guru, to faithfully follow his guidelines-to such a one, deep and firm faith and pure and real devotion do not come so easily or so early. This is because he will not get easily convinced that whatever the Guru is telling is really true, good and extremely important. He will go on getting any number of doubts. He will have to clear all his doubts before he can progress further.

The other person on the other hand, who is born with good samskaras (noble and virtuous qualities) from bis previous lives, surrenders to the Guru without any hesitation whatsoever. He will not go on doubting and questioning his Guru's guidelines and teachings. He will soon plunge himself into real sadhana and begins doing Pooja, Bhajan and Dhyana with intense faith and devotion.

Some people want to reach their goal immediately. In their haste and anxiety they create unnecessary difficulties for themselves. They don't think calmly and deeply using their power of discretion. Succumbing to some sudden up serge of emotions or due to some other reason they become renunciates all of a sudden. One should do the proper thing, at the proper time and in the proper way. Otherwise one is in for failure, disappointment and frustration. He will create difficulties for bin self and suffer unnecessarily. Outsiders will see only his actions. But will not the Guru know what is going on in his mind? Guru will be knowing why he became a renunciate and what is going on in his mind. Some of them after a while may go back to their families or become ordinary worldly people again. One cannot be certain.

But Guru will not definitely like such sudden and temporary renunciation. He will never advise anyone to do such things.

How one should live in this world is like this. He should live like a normal, well-behaved, decent citizen and lead a virtuous life. Inwardly he should renounce everything. He should be free from all sorts of desires. He should have firm and deep faith and devotion. All the same, outwardly he should be like any other person.

What is of utmost importance is to keep one's mind and heart absolutely pure. All the rest do not matter at all.

The supremacy of the 'Audumbara' Tree (Attimara)

6/09/2020 02:01:00 pm
The supremacy of the 'Audumbara' Tree (Attimara)
The supremacy of the 'Audumbara' Tree (Attimara)
Audumbara tree

It appears when God Ugra Narasimha killed the demon Hiranya Kasyapa, the agony and pain he felt due to the poison which had polluted HIS fingers did not subside due to any nursing or treatment. When Goddess Ganga and all other Gods and Goddesses failed in their attempts, Goddess Laksmi, it appears, took the fruit of the 'Atti' mara(Audumbara tree) and gave it to HIM. Then only the pain mitigated and disappeared. Since then the 'Audumbara' tree has become sacred. If the ferocity of incanation of God as Ugra Narasimha had not subsided and disappeared it would have become a grave danger to the whole of creation.

Even God Dattatreya, it appears, used to meditate under the 'Audumbara' tree. HE, it seems, would always live under the 'Audumbara' tree. Lord Datta himself has also said that HE lives in the 'Audumbara' tree.

If we interpret philosophically also, 'Ambara' means the principle of 'Akash' (space). It has no form or shape. In the same way God also is
formless, shapeless.

Sukha Nidre, Tani Nidre, Gnana Nidre (yoga Nidre), This is samadhi.

6/08/2020 08:17:00 am
Superb Sleep

  • Happy sleep (Sukha Nidre).
  • Special sleep (Tani Nidre).
  • Superb sleep (Ghana Nidre).

Work hard, exhaust yourself, eat well and sleep. You will sleep very happily. That is 'Happy sleep (Sukha Nidre). Free from all desires and ambitions, being at peace with yourself and with the world around, if you enjoy a dreamless sleep that is 'Special Sleep' (Tani Nidre).

But there is an entirely different sleep. Merging in oneself (becoming one with 'antaratma'), without any 'wants' and 'don't wants', no worldy thoughts ever peeping in, one's attention riveted to REALITY, awake and sitting, standing or in any posture, being utterly 'alone'-this sleep is called
"Superb Sleep (Ghana Nidre). This is Yoga Nidre'. The state everyone has to reach is this only. When in this state, the feeling that 'I am in Bliss is
also not there, because in that state 'one alone is, there is no second thing". When he himself has become Parabrahma itself and when Parabrahma alone is, who is there to know whom? After being in this 'Superb Nidra'or'Yoga Nidra' one takes quite some time to regain normal consiousness and do normal work. As one gets used to this state he wants to be only in this state and nothing else. This is the real 'Samadhi' state. While alive in this body, mind merging in that REALITY, in that DIVINITY, that PURE CONSCIOUSNESS and losing itself in THAT is called 'Samadhi'.

Remaining in 'Samadhi' one can be doing anything-sitting, walking, talking, seeing etc. While doing all these things, he will in fact not be doing anything If he is seeing he has not seen, if he is eating he has not eaten! He is totally free from all worldy thoughts and desires. Eyes open or closed, he will be seeing THAT'only. While walking if one gets into this state they call it "Travel Samadhi''(Sanchara Samadhi). He can be talking also then. In fact
either by walking or by talking he wants nothing. There is nothing he wants to get or gain. He doesn't want to please anyone by talking. He doesn't want any praise or glorification from anyone.

They will only be practicing like this to gain one-pointedness in meditation and raising themselves to higher levels of consciousness. But once they become adepts they will remain in the 'Samadhi State'normally also.
